“Actions Speak Louder than Words”
James 3:13 (NIV)
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
There is a saying when you talk about something. Talking is the easy part, then following it up with action is when the hard part starts. That is basically saying if you “talk the talk, walk the walk”. As believers we must always give credence to the changes that Christ can make in those who walk with Him. God calls upon us to act in accordance with His will and respect what He tells us in the Bible.
It isn’t just enough to listen to what God tells us, but we need to act upon what He tells us. One thing to remember is to read God’s Word and follow it and not always what others tell you to do. You will find that men have their own agenda and will tell you things twisted to fit their agenda and not always God’s agenda. Best way to avoid that is read God’s Word and let it dwell in your heart. Follow its teaching and with guidance from the Holy Spirit let it be a guide unto your feet.
