Asking God For Guidance
Have you ever had to make a decision and you needed help and were sure where to turn? There is no one better to turn to than God. He has divine wisdom, and He knows everything about us. He understands our deepest wants and needs better than we even know them.
Ok, so we need to ask God for guidance….Hmmm. Not real sure how to do that?
Isaiah 30:21
21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
It is time to pray and have a heart-to-heart talk with God just like you are talking to a close friend. Give God praise and ask Him to guide you. Ask Him to show you the path that leads you down the path He wants for you. Ask God to direct your steps so that you walk in a manner that is worthy of the calling He has given you.
I have actually asked God to close the door of the path, He doesn’t want me to take. This can be a tough time that leads to sleepless nights. However, when we learn to turn things over to God and ask Him for guidance it can lead to a good night sleep.
