Don’t Miss Out on God’s Peace

Romans 12:11-13 (NIV)

11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Has the busy pace of life robbed you of the peace that should be yours through Jesus Christ? If so, then you are too busy for your own good. The bible tells us in Philippians that we can have peace, which transcends all understanding.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

“6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

We can get so busy in life; we miss out on the free blessings that God gives us and one of those is peace. Maybe it is time to slow down and give a gift to your family and yourself and claim the inner peace that God has promised you can have due to your birthright you gained when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior.
