Each Day is a Gift
Psalm 90:12 (NIV)
12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
How will we use it? Will we celebrate God’s gifts and obey God’s commandments? Will we share words of encouragement to somebody that cross our paths. Will we give God praise and share the news about God to others? The answer to these questions will determine the direction of our day.
Psalm 118:24
24 The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.
This verse is a simple truth for Christians. Each day is from God, lets rejoice and treasure it. Let's live each day to its fullest. We live one day at a time, no matter how wealthy or gifted we cannot live 2 days at a time. God provides for us day by day.
Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
