God is the Answer to Our Worries
Proverbs 12:25
“Worry weighs down the heart,”
Even though we are Christians and have been given assurance of salvation--- even though we are Christians and received the promise of God’s love and protection--- we still find ourselves worrying over details of our daily lives. Jesus knew we would face worry because He talked about it a lot in scripture.
Matthew 6:25 (NIV)
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
God is bigger than any problem we might have, so put your problems in God’s hand and leave them there. Pray and give your problems over to God. Remember we are a child of God and He sits on His throne in Heaven. When we trust God, we will worry less.
Philippians 4:6 (HCSB)
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
