God is with us Always
John 16:32c (NIV)
“Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.”
Where is God? God is eternally with us. He is omnipresent, which literally means He is everywhere you ever go. He is with you night and day; He knows your every thought. He hears your every heartbeat.
In the Navy I had the opportunity to travel the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I have walked the beaches of Diego Garcia, the streets of Singapore, the streets of Hong Kong, traveled the roads of the Philippines, and sailed into Pearl Harbor. Those were some beautiful places to visit, but the greatest thing was that our Father in Heaven was with me every step of the way. He is with me today as I travel with my wife, Terri.
Sometimes, there are times that the weight of the world makes it feel like God is far away. There have been times that the disappointments in life have left me heartbroken. God at times has seemed distant, but He is not. When you earnestly seek God, you will find Him, because He is here waiting for you to reach out to Him.
God draws near to us every day in the common places, everyday experiences, and places. Never fear or worry, God is always with us.
John 14:18 (NIV)
18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
So, as you start your day, remember God is with you.
