Going Through the Storms
Does it ever feel that the storms you’re going through are never going to end? Our perspective is much different than God’s perspective. We see our storms and trials and think that they are never going to change. God understands they are here for a season.
God’s favor lasts a lifetime; our weeping may last a night; but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 (NIV)
5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
We don’t have to get stuck in fear during the storm. Realize that God is at work in our lives.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Hold onto the truth in the storm and keep your focus on the Lord. Know that your life is in His hands. His plans are good, and He will not harm you.
