“Have a Servant’s Heart”
1 John 5:2 (NKJV)
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
Jesus came to earth to be a servant and a Savior for mankind. As a believer it is our goal to become more Christ life in our Christian Walk. Jesus was a great example for us to follow. One of the examples of showing we love God is by keeping His commandment to serve one another.
We have so many opportunities to serve others in our daily lives. Do you know a family in need or who needs encouragement? All you need to do is meet their needs with love in your heart and encouragement in your lips.
In the book of Job, it gives us words of a promise of good things when we serve God.
Job 36:11 (NKJV)
11 If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures
So, make plans to serve God by serving others. The need is out there in our church family; in our friends; and in our community.
