“Is your relationship Intellectual?”
Over the years I have met numerous people who used the title of “Christian”. In further conversation you realize their mother attends church, but they haven’t opened a bible since going to Vacation Bible School as a kid and never put their faith and trust in Jesus.
We need to make sure our relationship with God is as Lord and Savior and not just intellectual knowledge of God. In our country there are many people that know the story of Jesus. We celebrate Christmas, we celebrate Easter, so our country has an intellectual knowledge of Jesus and what He did.
I am asking do you have a point in time that you put your faith in Jesus. You believe Jesus is (God in human form) and you trust what Jesus did on the cross (died and resurrection).
1 John 5:1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
Do not depend on just having intellectual knowledge of Jesus. In James it says the demons know about God and shudder.
James 2:19
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
Put your faith and trust in Jesus, make Him Lord and Savior of your life.
