Moments that are Priceless
I am getting my Papa hat ready to go. We are getting ready to go see the grandkids. There is an inner joy and peace watching my little grandkids play. Ages five, nine and one are great ages, well I guess any age is great when you talk about grandkids. I love watching their little minds think and learn things. I don’t need TV, don’t need the news, contentment is enjoying my grandkids company.
I thank God every day that my grandchildren are growing up in a loving home where they feel safe and are loved. It warms my heart when my little five-year-old granddaughter runs to the door when her daddy gets home from work yelling daddy. She wants a hug from her daddy. That is one of those moments that is priceless.
I also had a warm feeling when my nine-year-old granddaughter wants to read a story at bedtime and have a bible story read to her. That is another one of those moments that is priceless, knowing my granddaughter is learning about Jesus and stories in the bible.
Another moment that gives me great joy is watching Terri light up and soak up her grandkids’ vying for her attention. When little grandkids want to hug and just love on grandma. It is one of those moments that is priceless.
All I can say is, “God is Good”.
