Never stop Thanking God
1 Thessalonians 5:18
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Do we have a tendency not to thank God for the good things He has given us? In our hectic lives, it is easy for us to not make time to give God thanks for all He has done. If we look at our lives and start counting our blessings, we are amazed at how we are so blessed.
Erwin Lutzer said, “A Christian who walks by faith accepts all circumstances from God. He thanks God when everything goes well, when everything goes bad, and for everything in between. He thanks God whether he feels like it or not.
This week make the time to stop and thank God for everything He has done for you. There are blessings to us when we give God praise and thanksgiving for everything. Being truly thankful requires us to look beyond our current circumstances whether they are blessings or struggles and look to God, our true source of blessings.
Psalm 100:4
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
