Pray for Healing
This has been a tough week for close friends and family. I have had two friends that have lost family members this past week and I have lost a relative. I have felt the hurt they are going through, and I also know the hurt does go away. There will still be tears, but they knew their loved ones went home to be with the Lord. I also have multiple friends that are dealing with health issues.
Believers in the early church were instructed to seek prayer from their leaders and have faith that God would heal them That pattern remains for us to follow today.
James 5:14-15
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
God is the great physician and is Sovereign. I put my faith in God and ask Him to heal those who are ill. I am praying for multiple friends and family members with illness.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
