“The Secret Things of God”
Deuteronomy 29:29
29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
When we study God’s Word, there are many things that God reveals to us. God’s Word is meant for us to study and learn the things of God. The Bible reveals many things to us and has many benefits.
· It strengthens our faith.
· Helps us fight sin in our life.
· Helps us make decisions that follow God’s will.
· It helps us stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
· It helps us detect error that is in the World’s way of living.
· The bible helps revive our soul.
· It helps us in growing in our knowledge of Jesus Christ.
However, there are things that God has not revealed to us at this time and some things we might not ever know is this life. But that is OK with me to have mysteries. I trust my God and I am secure in His love. I can rest comfortably tonight knowing my Lord and Savior has things He doesn’t want me to know.
