“We are never Alone”
Do you ever feel lonely? I think everyone struggles with loneliness at some point in our lives. Just looking at a person you might not notice, while looking at others it is obvious.
It is understandable for a senior that loses their spouse after many years of marriage can experience loneliness. I saw this in my father after my mother passed away. But you can be a mother with two young children and still feel loneliness. Singles cans struggle with loneliness when they don’t have a spouse to share their life with. Loneliness can come to someone who believes no one understands what they are going through. This can give them a feeling of loneliness.
It tells us in God’s Word that He can fill that void in our life. When we come to know the Lord as our Savior the indwelling Holy Spirit is always with us. When we spend time in God’s Word it will provide us hope and comfort. It says in Proverbs 18:24 that God is a friend that is closer than a brother.
So next time you are feeling lonely spend some time with your Father by getting into His Word.
Proverbs 18:24
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand
