“You Can Find Happiness, Abundance and Contentment”
Psalm 112:1 (NIV)
Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.
We all want happiness, abundance, and contentment in our lives. We spend thousands trying to chase what the world says will provide these things. If everything was always favorable, then it would be easy to be happy and contented. But when circumstances are adverse and our plans go awry, we feel discouraged, depressed, or dismayed.
The Apostle Paul, said “I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances…”
Philippians 4:11 (NIV)
11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
The happiest people are those that love God and obey His commandments. Life is full of possibilities, and it is up to us to seize them. God has promised us abundance and it is up to us to accept His promises. God has blessed us beyond measure, and we should honor Him with our prayers, our words, and our deeds. When we obey and serve God, we will experience happiness, abundance and contentment.
Job 36:11 (NIV)
11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
